Totnes Lib Dems prepare for European campaign with a visit to Brussels.

Totnes PPC, Mike Treleaven, his wife Elaine and constituency chairman John Stevens with his wife Sheila took advantage of a Lawrence Fullick organised LDEG visit to the European Parliament last week. In an action packed 2 days they met with many of the Euro MEPs, representatives of the Commission and local Liberal Democrat members.
Commenting on the visit Mike said:
'We are determined to do our bit in Totnes to ensure success in the European elections in June and visits like this give an up to date view of how people are thinking on many of the critical issues. When you are canvassing eurosceptics it is brilliant to be able to say ' I've been there - I've seen what happens - I've seen how well it works.'. I recommend these trips to everyone - you learn, meet new people and the food and wine aren't bad either!'
